With a population of only 17,000 (170,00 in July and August!), it’s amazing to think there is over 42 farms that sell fruits, vegetables, meat, poultry, honey, and cheese on Martha's Vineyard. Oyster cultivators and fishermen add to the local bounty available to all – but sometimes you need to be an insider to nab the days first catch, to learn about where shellfish have been seeded for a quick bushel of clams or to learn how to get in on amazing pop up culinary events.
We’re experts at details, and with partners all over the island including incredible private chefs and premium hotels, we have ideas you may have not even considered. We promise, after a time with us, food treasures of the island will start to reveal themselves at every turn.
At Gather, we use nourishing food, a beautiful, communal table and interactive experiences as our centerpiece to explore where we want to go— who we want to be, how we choose to live, and the community we build around it ---with friends, top lifestyle influencers via pop-up dinners and intimate conversations.
One Day Events. Spring/Summer/Fall 2018
As a couple who has been coming to the Vineyard for years, we thought we knew the island's secrets, but through multiple Farm.Field.Sea experiences, we discovered hidden gems around Martha's Vineyard. We've enjoyed amazing meals in unforgettable settings and the chance to learn with the island’s farmers, cheese makers, and artisanal food purveyors. We felt part of special events that were curated just for us. Farm.Field.Sea is the perfect way to spend a day or two to get immersed in the bountiful richness of our beautiful island."
