Nevette Previd has more than 25 years of experience building and implementing strategic marketing, grassroots and public relations campaigns, and producing consumer events. She has a broad marketing skill set, deep networks, and distinguished track record of bringing creative concepts to life, leading diverse teams, and delivering tangible results to stakeholders. Nevette's passion lies in pursuing marketing campaigns that perfectly brings together the right offering to the right consumer in the right way at the right time.

Marketing Consulting
Nevette launched her marketing consultancy Nevette Previd Consulting in 2005 to focus on "connecting communities" through storytelling for entertainment companies, brands, and nonprofits. Her expertise is the development and project management of integrated marketing campaigns. Clients include the Granary Gallery Family, Plant-based entrepreneur Kyleen Keenan, Island Grown Initiative and the Martha’s Vineyard Nonprofit Collaborative. Nevette serves on the Martha's Vineyard Museum's marketing advisory committee, the Martha's Vineyard Chamber of Commerce Tourism advisory board,  the Tisbury School Communication committee with the charter to build a new school, and is the co-chair of the Vineyard Haven Cultural District to bolster community through arts and culture.

Farm.Field.Sea.
In 2013, she founded Farm. Field. Sea., a culinary tourism company based on Martha's Vineyard. Offering "life-learning" experiences, fusing local food, storytelling, and the environment, she produces events from brainstorming to execution. Her role includes developing and communicating a cohesive brand story through programs, partnerships, content, design, and unified team culture.

Event Production
Her resume of events includes multi-day festivals, brand events, and movie premieres. She is the founder and producer of the Martha's Vineyard Oyster Festival, the first event of its kind on the Island launching fall of 2021. For nine years, she served as the Director of Living Local MV, a two-day festival educating on food, marine life, and local economies. She was the re-branding consultant and producer of The Martha's Vineyard Food & Wine Festival and The Martha's Vineyard International Film Festival, leading various teams, overseeing programming and supervising and implementing systems to maximize efficiency and profitability. She has produced film premieres at film festivals worldwide, from Cannes to Sundance, nonprofit galas, and brand events in New York, Los Angeles, and Boston.

Nonprofit Work
Her work with nonprofits focuses on activating capacity building programs, advocacy, and implementation of feasibility studies. She is currently consulting for Martha's Vineyard Nonprofit Collaborative, helping build new capacity programs, and overseeing marketing efficiencies. For Island Grown Initiative, local food advocacy nonprofit, she served as the project manager. Projects included: the 'Venison Donation Project,' educating about tick borne-illnesses and deer populations, the 'Food Hub Feasibility Study,' assessing local food distribution efficiencies, and 'MV Food Waste Campaign,' a grassroots effort encouraging composting at home.

Resume
Before founding her company, Nevette served as senior management for some of the most exciting entertainment companies in New York and London. At IFC Films, he served as the VP of Marketing managing the marketing strategy, grassroots, and creative for films such as Earth Days, Touching the Void, Metallica: Some Kind of Monster. In her tenure in London, she worked at Atom.com/Shockwave as the VP of Communications as part of the team overseeing the strategic launch of the digital brand across Europe; Freud's, where she launched the film department working with Matthew Vaughn, Guy Ritchie and Working Title Films. She was also part of the first team at Fox Searchlight Pictures in New York.

Nevette is a graduate of Hofstra University with a BA degree in Communications. In 2019, she received her Certificate in Nonprofit Leadership from The Institute For Nonprofit Practice (INP) as part of Tufts University's Jonathan M. Tisch College. ​
